Holy Week is here! Although we are physically separated, we want you to participate fully in the prayers and liturgies of Holy Week as we walk with Jesus through his passion, death, and resurrection.
Facebook Live We will livestream the following liturgies on our FACEBOOK page so you can participate from your home. You do not need a Facebook account, just click the link, then once at the page, don't click anything else, just scroll down to the 'Posts' section to see the livestream.
Wednesday, April 8th A recital of Holy Week Organ Music will be livestreamed at 6:30pm from St. John the Evangelist Parish. Lucas Wickstrom will perform classic and modern works inspired by the events of Christ's Passion.
Holy Thursday, April 9th The Mass of the Lord's Supper commemorates Jesus' institution of the Most Holy Eucharist and his command of charity which he exhibited by washing his disciples' feet. The Mass will be livestreamed at 7:00pm, followed by an hour of Eucharistic adoration with devotional prayers led by Father Ryan.
Good Friday, April 10th The Stations of the Cross will be livestreamed beginning at 11:30am, followed by the Liturgy of the Lord's Passion at 12:00 noon. In the evening, we will livestream a traditional Tenebrae evening service of prayer at 7:00pm.
Holy Saturday, April 11th Father Ryan will be available for Confession in the St. Joseph Parish parking lot from 10:00am until 1:00pm. The Easter Vigil will be livestreamed from St. Peter Cathedral at 9:00pm with Bishop John Doerfler as the celebrant. Visit THIS page for the livestream.
Easter Sunday, April 12th We will livestream Easter Sunday Mass at 11:00am. Weather-permitting, Father Ryan will be in the parking lot of St. Joseph Parish from 12:30pm until 1:30pm with the Blessed Sacrament for adoration and to give a Eucharistic blessing to you in your car.
The Lord is With Us Jesus never abandons us. Our physical separation is difficult, but can be turned into a sacrifice of love for those who are sick and those caring for them. Let us keep all of them in our prayers as we walk with Jesus this week.
