NOVEMBER 10 WOMEN’S DAY OF REFLECTION TO FOCUS ON “GIVE ME JESUS” Women from across the U.P. are invited to participate in a special Women’s Day of Reflection to be held on Sat., Nov. 10, at St. Michael Parish in Marquette. Mary Sellars Malloy will lead a day of prayer and reflection on three passages from the Gospel of Luke that “give us Jesus” the storyteller, healer, Savior, companion, and Son of God. Attendees are encouraged to bring a Bible and a journal or notebook to the event. The day will begin with registration at 10 a.m. EST and conclude at 3:30 p.m., with the opportunity to participate in the weekend liturgy at 4:00 in the church. The cost is $10, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, childcare (if needed) and door prizes. The event is partially funded by a diocesan Legacy of Faith grant. Malloy is an accomplished musician and talented storyteller, who has served as Director of the Diocese of Saginaw’s Liturgy Office.
