In Ordinary Time, we're called to follow Jesus on the way of discipleship, becoming more like him and doing what he did!

In Advent, we prepare spiritually for the three-fold coming of Christ: in Bethlehem at his first coming, in the Sacraments now, and in glory and majesty at his final coming.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the anouncement of the life-changing event of His death and resurrection.  From now on, our circumstances are radically different.  Come listen to this announcement afresh and the difference it makes!

Lent comes from the word that means 'Spring.'  It is our participation in Jesus' 40 days in the desert, time for spiritual renewal through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.  When Easter comes, may we be ready to spring forth with new fruits of holiness!

Ordinary Time continues until the beginning of Lent on March 2nd.  In this time we walk with Jesus in the Gospel of Luke from his first miracle at Cana in Galilee through his Sermon on the Plain.
