Greetings! We celebrate this week numerous feast days of saints and angels. Tomorrow is the feast of the archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Wednesday is the memorial of St. Jerome, the great translator and commentator on Scripture. Thursday is St. Therese of Lisieux's memorial. And Friday is the memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels. ​Please keep in your prayers Irene Baldini, mother of St. Joe's parishioner Kay Wirtanen. Irene's funeral was last Thursday at St. Joseph parish. And pray for Ted Richards, father of parishioner Dale Richards. Ted's funeral will be at St. John's this Friday at 1pm.

​I hope you're enjoying the book Walking with God: A Journey through the Bible. This week, read Chapter One, pages 7-32. ​We had a fruitful Couples' Night last Friday, with eight couples who came for the dinner, video presentation, and discussion with their spouse. Our next Couples' Night will be Friday, November 6th from 6pm-8:30pm at St. Joseph parish hall. For an intro to what the night is like, watch this video.

​Now's the time of year we try to reach out to people who want to learn more about becoming Catholic, and adults who've never received the Sacrament of Confirmation. If you, your spouse, a family member, or friend wants to learn more about this, invite them to come to our Inquiry Session next Monday, October 5th at St. John's, and consider coming along with them for support! We'll begin in the church at 6:30pm.

​Finally, Care Clinic pregnancy services' annual Fall Banquet is next week, Thursday October 8th. I want to invite YOU to join us in the St. John's hall for a spatially-distanced catered dinner at 6:00pm, followed by the livestreamed banquet event from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Deadline to register is next Tuesday.
